Joe Marion Exum, 78, of Harrisburg departed this life on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born January 11, 1944, in Harrisburg to the late Dell M. and Violet Virginia (Rolland) Exum.

Joe was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church in Harrisburg. He loved going to church. He served in the Arkansas National Guard. He was retired. Joe dedicated most of his life working for the city of Harrisburg alongside his father, Dell and his brother, Sonny. Joe also spent years as a volunteer firefighter for the city of Harrisburg. Joe was a people person who enjoyed helping others and watching wrestling (and you wouldn’t dare try to tell him it was fake!). He loved spending time with his brother Sonny. Joe’s pride and joy was his daughter, Tammy Jo and his granddaughter, and two great-grandchildren.
