Meet Ducky, Cera, and Spike, who reside at the Mell’s Mutts dog rescue shelter in Fresno.

They are resilient puppies who have overcome adversity to find a brighter future. Their story began with tragedy when they lost their mother at just two weeks old, leaving them orphaned.

Their mother, a stray dog struggling to survive near a local gas station, caught the attention of a caring individual in January. Despite efforts to help her, fate intervened tragically when she was hit and killed by a car, leaving behind her nursing pups.

Thanks to dedicated care and bottle feeding, these pups have thrived and are now six weeks old, healthy, and full of life. Their mixed heritage and potential size are being determined through a DNA test, but what matters most is finding them loving forever homes.
