Israel has launched a strike inside Iran, according to several US media sites in a move that threatens full-scale regional conflict.

Iranian media says three explosions were heard near the army base in Isfahan, which is the country’s third largest city and is also home to a nuclear enrichment base. Israel has yet to take responsibility.
