China Invading Taiwan with Drones [Video]

China has been sending drones into Taiwan’s airspace, something the Taiwan government hasn’t wanted to talk about. It’s all part of China’s grayzone warfare strategy, which seeks to antagonize the enemy, but just under the threshold for war. In this episode of China Unscripted, we discuss all the ways China’s drones mess with Taiwan, China meddling in Taiwan’s elections, and why Taiwan’s leaders aren’t publicizing these drone attacks. Joining us in this episode is Guermantes Lailari, a retired US Air Force Foreign Area Officer specializing in the Middle East and Europe, as well as strategy, irregular warfare, and missile defense. Last year, he was a Ministry of Foreign Affairs Taiwan Fellow. This year he is a visiting scholar at National Chengchi University in Taipei.
