Giants insider projects team will draft wide receiver with No. 6 pick [Video]

The likelihood of Giants drafting Daniel Jones’s replacement in Thursday’s NFL Draft seems to be dwindling.

As experts analyze the draft board, it looks like the quarterbacks Big Blue likes won’t be there when the sixth-overall pick is on the clock. That’s not to say they won’t get one — it’s just there chances aren’t good.

On Thursday, Giants insider Jordan Ranaan projected the five likeliest scenarios for the No. 6 pick. The player they have the best chance of landing, according to the ESPN reporter, is LSU’s Malik Nabers.

“He is an ideal fit for coach Brian Daboll’s offense,” Raanan writes, “which wants to put the ball in the receivers’ hands and let them work.”
