Jeff Stelling has slammed Arsenal defender Ben White for ‘playing cards on the beach’ while England lost to Brazil.

White asked not to be considered for England’s 1-0 defeat to Brazil on Saturday and tomorrow’s friendly against Belgium.

The 26-year-old has made four England caps but none since he left the Three Lions squad midway through the Qatar World Cup.

It was recently revealed that White decided to leave the camp after an altercation with Gareth Southgate’s England assistant Steve Holland.

Over the weekend, White’s wife Milly shared an image on Instagram of the couple lounging on sunbeds in front of a pool at Kyma Beach in Dubai.

The Daily Mail say White jetted off to Dubai to enjoy some sun before Arsenal’s mouth-watering clash against Premier League title rivals Manchester City next weekend.
