The nationalities of the seven executed were undisclosed, but their names indicated Saudi nationality. Saudi Arabia executed more individuals in 2022 than any country except China and Iran, including 33 for terrorism-related crimes. December 2023 recorded 38 executions, the deadliest month. Saudi authorities justify executions to maintain public order, adhering to Sharia law based on Quranic teachings.
