‘Their time is running out’: Parents of kidnapped Israeli-American hostage Hersh Goldberg-Polin, 24, call for swift action after Hamas issues distressing proof-of-life video showing where his hand was blown off

The parents of Israeli-American hostage Hersh Goldberg-Polin have called for swift action after Hamas today issued a distressing proof-of-life video of their son.

The 24-year-old, who was taken from the Nova Festival on October 7, was seen in a video posted by Hamas today blaming Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu for leaving him with the terror group for 200 days.

Goldberg-Polin, born in California in March 2000, has spent more than six months as a hostage and was seen with a shaved head and part of his arm and his left hand missing.

Following the distressing footage, Hersh’s parents urged Netanyahu to not ‘waste any more time’ and bring the hostages home as a ‘top priority’.

The heartbroken family added the ‘video serves as an urgent call to take swift and decisive action’, warning the Israeli Prime Minister that ‘time is rapidly running out’ for the remaining hostages held captive by Hamas.
