UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said a thwarted Saturday attack by Iran on Israel with missiles and drones had been unprecedented in its scale.
“It was a reckless and dangerous escalation,” Sunak told MP’s as he briefed parliament on the incident.
Israeli leaders on Sunday credited an international military coalition with helping thwart the attack calling the coordinated response a starting point for a “strategic alliance” of regional opposition to Tehran.
