A slew of public forums happened at elementary schools across the Washington Central Unified Union School District Wednesday evening. The goal of the forums is for members of the school district to hear how potential school closings would affect the public. The district said capacities are low in their five elementary schools at an average 47% capacity rate, and students could gain from consolidation. “We want to have an ideal class size for students to learn.
