CINCINNATI (WXIX) – With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, a local entrepreneur may be able to help you find the right card for your sweetheart or loved one.

Jakob Rosenthal is a 22-year-old entrepreneur who has Autism and Apraxia.

Even as a young man, he runs a successful business called Cards by Jakob with help from his mom, Jenn Jordan.

“My life has been so incredibly expanded because of the love and support of people who don’t even know me,” says Rosenthal.

It all started in 2021 during the pandemic.

Rosenthal made six Valentine’s Day cards. Jordan contacted a printing company to see if they could produce copies to sell on Etsy. After 90 minutes online, they sold 200 cards.

“So, I’m like ok, we might be onto something here,” remembers Jordan. “So, that’s when it started and we started with cards and then we expanded to a calendar and then we did a coloring book and then we did some hoodies and then a t-shirt and …
