23-year-old Israel Easterday was sentenced for his involvement of the U.S. Capitol breach on Jan. 6, 2021.

This is the second time in 4 years that six students from Metcalfe County have been selected as scholars or alternates.

The ceremony welcomed applicants from 12 different nations, including Bhutan, Burma, Cuba, Congo, United Kingdom, Canada, Thailand, India, Liberia, Venezuela, Vietnam and Mexico.

The office carries a 6-year term, with an election not slated again until 2030 after this year.

Stone says building a facility in Warren County exemplifies Med Center Health’s mission, which is to care for people and improve the quality of life in the communities they serve.
