The 2024 Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix, held last weekend at the 5.451-kilometer Shanghai International Circuit, marked Scuderia Ferrari’s weakest performance of the season thus far. Following an impressive one-two finish at the Albert Park circuit in Australia, the absence of a red car on the podium in China was disappointing.

Ferrari struggled to unleash the full potential of their car, a fact acknowledged candidly by team principal Frederic Vasseur. The disappointing outcome of the Chinese Grand Prix highlights the underperformance of the SF-24 single-seater. The car failed to shine and reveal its true capabilities throughout the race weekend.
