Finally, it seems this ultimate form of convenience is set to arrive in the real word. 

A California company called Joby Aviation says it will host commercial flying taxi trips around Dubai as soon as next year. 

Incredible footage shows what the luxury will be like for paying passengers, who will wait at ‘vertiports’ for their flight departure just like today’s airports. 

The company’s propeller-powered taxi is designed to carry a pilot and four passengers at speeds of up to 198 miles/hour (320km/hour).
