KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – One individual continues to recover from serious injuries sustained from a hit-and-run collision outside a Kansas City church over the weekend.
The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department says that just before 10:50 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, emergency crews were called to the area of Linwood and Olive St. with reports of a hit-and-run collision.
When first responders arrived, they said they found a pedestrian had attempted to cross Linwood Blvd. in front of the Free Worshippers Church. They made it to the middle of the road before they were hit by a gray Toyota Camry headed east.
KCPD noted that the pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital with critical injuries while the driver of the Toyota sped away from the scene. However, both were found a short time later.
First responders indicated that the victim remains in serious but stable condition as the investigation remains ongoing. No further information, …
