Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Wednesday’s (April 24) episode that is now available to view on Channel 4 streaming. The episode in question will air on E4 on Thursday April 25 at 7pm.  

Sharon Bailey (Jamelia) has left the village after she was headhunted for a fancy new position at a top hospital in Dubai.

The much-loved doctor has been at the centre of numerous storylines over the past year, from embarking on a passionate relationship with Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) to opening up about a past crime she was involved in.

But after an eventful year, the character decided to take the opportunity of a lifetime and accept the position in Dubai, with emotional scenes in Wednesday’s streaming episode seeing her bid farewell to her loved ones.
