IDF Pounds Syria, Kills “300 Hezbollah Militants” | Hamas Not Expecting “Permanent Ceasefire” Deal

Israeli fighter jets carried out strikes against several sites near the Syrian capital, causing “material losses” in Damascus. Israeli warplanes launched missiles from over the Golan Heights, with Syrian air defences shooting down “most of them.” The Israel Defence Forces carried out airstrikes on Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon’s Kafra and Seddiqine, killing two people. On the morning of February 28, Hamas’ Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades targeted two Israeli military sites with two barrages of “Grad rockets.” National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir will not be permitted to bar Arab Israelis from worshipping at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Israel’s war cabinet ruled. Israel’s plan to add thousands more homes to settlements in the occupied West Bank likely triggered a policy shift in the Biden administration.
