Israeli Forces Strike 40 Hezbollah Targets in Massive Air Assault

The Israeli military reported striking numerous targets in southern Lebanon, while Hezbollah claimed to have launched multiple rockets toward an Israeli border village amidst escalating tensions. According to Israeli Defence Forces, the strikes focused on Aita al-Shaab, situated approximately 3km inside the Lebanese border, targeting roughly 40 sites, including weapon storage facilities and other Hezbollah assets. Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant praised the operation’s effectiveness, citing ongoing offensive actions across southern Lebanon and beyond. He said, that half of Hezbollah commanders in Southern Lebanon have been wiped out. However, a Hezbollah official dismissed the claim as mere attempts to uplift Israeli morale, deeming them “completely worthless.”
