LOCUST GROVE, Ga. — Jordan Barrett, 24, was given just months to live. However, he didn’t want his wedding to the love of his life, Mikayla, to be his last act.

Instead, he walked down the aisle and waited at the altar for his beautiful bride so that he could live– so that with whatever time he had left, they could live together as husband and wife. 

At just 24, the news was devastating for Jordan. He was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive stomach cancer. Doctors told him there was nothing else they could do. 

But Jordan knew exactly what he wanted to do. Say, “I do,” to the love of his life.
