Most Americans oppose Israels war in Gaza, poll finds [Video]

Most Americans disapprove of Israel’s war in Gaza, according to a Gallup poll released Wednesday – a downward shift in Americans’ opinions on the war.

More than half of Americans – 55% – said they disapprove of Israel’s military action in Gaza, while 36% approve of it, according to the poll, which surveyed 1,016 U.S. adults this month. Only 9% of Americans polled said they had no opinion on the matter. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus four percentage points.

The poll shows growing discontent among Americans with Israel’s war in Gaza. A Gallup poll in November found that 50% of Americans approved of Israel’s actions in Gaza, while 45% disapproved and 4% said they had no opinion on the war. The conflict, which has now killed more than 32,490 Palestinians, according to the Gaza Health Ministry, which does not distinguish between civilians and combatants, …
