Jordan Travis had tears in his eyes at the beginning of his call with the New York media after the Jets moved up to take him in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
“It’s a freakin dream come true,” he said.
Travis will now join Aaron Rodgers and Tyrod Taylor in the Jets quarterback room, and he says he can’t wait to pick the veterans’ brains.
“See how they treat their teammates, how they carry themselves on the field, off the field,” he said. “Just learn the little things. I freaking can’t wait.”
