Mumbai News: Anand Mahindra, the Indian business tycoon, recently faced criticism from netizens, including former Jet Airways CEO designate Sanjiv Kapoor, over his comparison of the flood situation in Dubai with Mumbai. Kapoor labeled the analogy as “incorrect,” sparking a social media debate.

In a post on social media, Anand Mahindra shared a video showcasing the waterlogged roads in Dubai after a heavy rain. Along with the video, he wrote, “Nope. Not Mumbai. Dubai.” However, Kapoor retweeted Mahindra’s post, stating, “Incorrect analogy. Dubai was not built for such heavy rains – rains that would flood most cities. A better analogy would be if it suddenly snowed heavily in Bombay, which was obviously not built to handle snow at all. Would people in snowy Oslo mock Bombay?”
