KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (WBTV) – A former high school staff member in Kannapolis was arrested for child sex offenses related to a student.
Officers with the Kannapolis Police Department said that on March 18, they received information that 29-year-old Jordan Correll was having inappropriate communication with a 15-year-old student. At one point, Correll was a faculty member at A.L. Brown High School.
An investigation revealed that there was inappropriate communication and sexual acts committed.

Correll has been charged with Indecent liberties with a student, indecent liberties with a child (four counts) and statutory sex offense with a child less than or equal to 15 years of age (two counts). He is in the Cabarrus County Jail under a $1 million bond.
