The Hill reports that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, in contrast to the Republicans of the senate, has denied a the chance to speak to the senate Democratic caucus. Netanyahu is angry at the Democratic stance and no longer espouses the two state solution; Schumer is one of the few major Democratic voices saying publicly that the two state solution must not be abandoned.
Schumer has also called for early elections; another issue causing tension with Netanyahu. Meanwhile, the President continues to advocate for a ceasefire.

A delegation is coming to Washington from Israel today to discuss the ceasefire prior to invading Rafah but success is not assured.
