Temple ISD teacher hoping to win America’s Favorite Teacher [Video]

TEMPLE, Texas — Fourth-generation, Temple ISD teacher Jordan Beeman is hoping to win the America’s Favorite Teacher contest where one educator will be gifted $25,000, a trip to Hawaii and a spotlight in Reader’s Digest magazine.

Beeman, who attended Temple ISD as a student, has been teaching at the school district for seven years and is currently at Thornton Elementary.

Beeman says teaching students knowing they are sitting in the same seats she sat in as a kid means so much to her. She hopes to make each and every one of them feel comfortable in her classroom and to let them know that someone loves them.
