US Senate vote on Ukraine aid could come today [Video]

Democrats Tim Kaine and Mark Warner have pushed for the passage of the $95 billion aid bill for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan.

Kaine said the measure “is going to pass, and not a minute too soon.”

“Defense aid for Ukraine is absolutely critical right now,” Kaine said. “The Iranian attack on Israel, with hundreds of missiles and drones that the United States helped defeat, demonstrated that Israel does need cooperation from the United States and others to defend itself.”

Kaine pointed out that the bill would also benefit Hampton Roads by expanding the ship and submarine construction industrial base, which would impact Newport News Shipbuilding.
