SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – A man is in serious condition after he was hit by a pickup truck Monday.
Police responded to the intersection of High Street and Franklin Avenue around 4 a.m., which is southeast of the Kearney Street and Kansas Expressway intersection.
Officers say the driver was going east on High Street when the man was hit. Police are trying to determine if the man was standing in the middle of the road or if he was trying to cross the street.
Officers say the driver is cooperating with the investigation.
